Story:
Wicked Star was born in January 2003 during a live jam between 3 small town boys from St-Hyacinthe; all three devoted to an unfortunately forgotten style of music: pure and authentic HARD ROCK. The musical fusion was instant and the band still has its original members.
Since then, there have been many memorable performances and the band shared the stage with a number of big names such as: «Groovy Aardvark» «Aut’ Chose» «Capitaine Révolte» «Sans Pression» «Anonymus» «The Monarchy» and «Pete Möss». Contests like: «Emergenza» «GBOB Contest (Envol et Macadam)» and «Second Skin Rock Contest» gave the opportunity for the band to show and express their talents live onstage. Festivals like: «Farnham Skate Fest» «Festival du Maïs de St-Damase» «Festival de la Musique Émergente de St-Jean-sur-Richelieu» and «Rock Ville Fest de St-Jude» are all places where Wicked Star gave some solid and electrifying Hard Rock live performances.
The band is known for his authentic Hard Rock style and solid live jams. It’s onstage where their passion and energy comes out. The crowd is always impressed by the easy-going and festive attitude of the band. Wicked Star always has a professional approach both onstage and the way they manage their career.

Here's Andréanne Sambles' excellent article on Wicked from a fanzine of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu :
Wicked Star
